CoaST Celebration Event 13 March 2008
Marja van Loef
Remember the CoaST Building on Distinction Event we held in December 2005? How you all packed out the main conference room in Bedruthan Steps and contributed to an amazing day on socially, economically and environmentally sustainable tourism? How we all came out with such a huge sense of what we had achieved and with a determination to do it but even more and even better? And how we wanted to do it again last year but didn't have the resources? Well, now we do - at last! So put March 13th in your diaries - and watch this space for more information on a day to make you feel really, really good about what you're doing, and even clearer about what we can do next. The event will be free to CoaST members, with thanks to SWT for their collaboration with funding - so if you're interested, you can start letting us know as soon as you can - more info will be with you in the next few weeks, but places will be limited so get your name down. Can't wait to see you there! And just to remind you - these are a few of the emails which deluged the office last time in the days following the event, which was a fantastic joint effort from All the CoaST members who were there - so the credit below goes to ALL CoaST members who participated on the day: Remember that? You did it! So let's do it again. March 13th. Get your names down now. And don't worry if you're not what you call a tourism business - as long as you're a CoaST member, you're welcome. You have a link to tourism and can contribute to doing it sustainably! Email us on info@coastproject.co.uk
