transition towns

Transition Towns are part of the Transition movement, founded by Rob Hopkins, to enable local communities to start to deal with the issues of resource depletion and Peak Oil. Cornwall - true to form - already has several Transition Towns and Groups - Penwith, Falmouth, Truro, and Lostwithiel. As well as promoting and publicising the activities taking place across the Network, CoaST is also actively involved in helping Transition Penwith develop its next stage of work and secure funding for its future development.

There's more information on Peak Oil in the Information and Support section. If you want to to have full access to the site, why not join CoaST?

Quote of the Day
Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.
