Women Of Achievement Awards 2007
There are many fine women in Cornwall; 8 were awarded for their efforts in different areas at the Cornwall Women of Acheivement Awards in 2007, including Manda, CoaST Director, for work on Environment and Sustainability. It's fantastic to see that these issues are on the radar for such awards...and Manda felt it an honour to even be on the list amongst such remarkable women. (It should be noted that all credit goes to the CoaST members who collaborated/conspired to submit her nomination behind her back). . . It's a bit hazy but this was Manda winning her award. . .the first time most of us have ever seen her speechless!
