A windy day at the Giants Cause Way in Northern Ireland back in 2007!

And now, here we are in 2010 and the sad, but exciting news of my departure from CoaST has been announced.. . What can I say?

What a journey . . the last 6 years have been a such a steep learning curve, its been hard work but alot of fun and so incredibly rewarding. The energy, motivation and determination you all have to make a posotive difference has been truly inspiring, and has nourished me every step of the way.

I have so enjoyed being part of the CoaST team, the One Planet Tourism network and the collective 'push' to get Cornwalls tourism industry in shape! It has been such a pleasure working with you all - whether it be on projects, exchanges, site visits, BTECS, at events, over the phone, or simply on line.

It's important you all know that despite my leaving CoaST I look forward to watching the network go from strength to strength, as you all prepare for and respond to the challenges we face.  I hope that my future work will feed into the network in whatever way best fits, and I know that being part of the network will continue to nourish me on the next leg of the journey.

Since the sad, but exciting, e-mail announcing my departure I have taken the decision to leave the Ambassadors for Change project behind me too -   as Manda put it so succinctly 'it  makes it difficult to see the new land properly if the old land is still in front of you' . . . and the new land that is coming into focus is joinin Footprint Consulting

So, do all keep in touch. You will be able to reach me at info and I look forward to our paths criss crossing again, as I am sure they will  :-)
