•Manda in the Spotlight
Manda Brookman, Director of CoaST, has been recognised for her great work at the CoaST Project and One Planet Tourism as she was one of the finalists at The Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards 2009. Manda won the -Highly Commended for Best Personal contribution- at the Responsible Tourism Awards. Brilliant Manda, well done!!!! Quoted in Spotlight (see attachment,page 28, for the article) "She’s the Great Persuader. It is called being ‘Mandered’ – no, not murdered! Nobody dies of Manda’s ‘attacks’.In fact, the idea behind her modus operandi is to prolong the life and beauty of Cornwall, the people who live in the county and subtly educate the 5.5 million who visit it each year."
