STEPPA
STEPPA is a joint European programme funded by the EU Programme for Knowledge Networks for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of European Tourism (oof!) Its aim is to work with businesses operating in the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty who are delivering the EUROPARC charter, and look at their motivations and engagement with the broad green agenda. Loads of great businesses...loads of great ideas!
CoaST is one of the UK partners, and is working closely with the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT) on this project.
Cornwall has secured the Europarc Charter, as of last year, and many of our members operate inside the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Helping them move towards a more sustainable is beneficial to them as businesses, and to the area they live, love, and work in.
